This splendid reproduction deals with the shortsighted Father hiring an "unrefined gem" of a housekeeper, ready for polishing. Despite his lifechanging mistake, he ends up impressing the city councilman and wins a seat on the City Council. This episode originally aired over the NBC network on June 22, 1950.
